The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest <br />listed on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Carol Fehn Fitzpatrick, San Leandro resident <br />, addressed the City Council, providing the <br />history of Farrelly Pool, and stressing the importance of keeping it open. <br /> <br />Heidi Klassen, San Leandro resident <br />, addressed the City Council, requesting that the <br />Council construct the competitive pool at the San Leandro Family Aquatics Center. <br /> <br />Brian Murrell, San Leandro resident <br />, addressed the City Council, submitting a document <br />s of 121 <br />San Leandro residents. Mr. Murrell commented on the importance of the pool to the <br />community, and he urged the Council to keep it open. <br /> <br />Lucinda Murrell, San Leandro resident <br />, addressed the City Council, stating that she and <br />her brother are swim students at Farrelly Pool. Miss Murrell urged the Council to keep the <br />pool open. <br /> <br />Corina Lopez, Best Manor Homeowners Association <br />, addressed the City Council, <br />protesting the lack of transparency in the meetings <br />Measure WW funds, the lack of opportunity for public participation, and the <br />recommendations of the Measure WW Ad Hoc Committee. <br /> <br />Richard Beckett, Farrelly Pond Neighborhood Association <br />, addressed the City Council, <br />expressing disappointment that the recommendations by the Measure WW Ad Hoc <br />Committee did not include the needed improvements to Siempre Verde Park, and that the <br />Committee meetings were closed to public input. <br /> <br /> <br />
