IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-088 (3151) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROPRIATE $350,000 OF <br />FEDERAL AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) <br />GRANT FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is submitting an application to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC) for approximately $350,000 in funding from the federal <br />American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for the Springlake Drive Street <br />Rehabilitation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro understands that the ARRA funding is fixed at the <br />programmed amount and any increase in project costs cannot be expected to be funded with <br />additional ARRA funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That $350,000 be appropriated from grant funds. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 15~' day of June, 2009, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Mayor Santos (1) <br />ATTEST: ~~ ,f x{1,1 ~~;ti~r~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
