IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-083 (1362/2096) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONIMLJNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />AGREEMENT FOR FY 2009-2010 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG <br />SUBRECIPIENT FOR ANON-PROFIT CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) LOAN <br />SAN LEANDRO BOYS & GIRLS CLUB <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the City is the recipient of Community Development Block Grant <br />("CDBG") funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the following non-profit organization desires to perform certain capital <br />improvement projects on or related to the City-owned property: San Leandro Boys & Girls Club; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, City desires to provide CDBG loans to qualified local non-profit <br />organizations in order to assist such organizations with capital improvement projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the CDBG non-profit capital improvement project (CIP) loan agreement <br />between the City of San Leandro and San Leandro Boys & Girls Club, copies of which are <br />attached, have been presented to this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreement; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized for <br />the CDBG CIP loan amount of $22,400 for San Leandro Boys & Girls Club. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 15~' day of June, 2009, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Mayor Santos (1) <br />ATTEST: ~` ~ ~~~% <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
