IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-082 (2012/2096/2273/2547/2769) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br />AGREEMENTS FOR FY 2009-2010 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG <br />SUBRECIl'IENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO BUILDING FUTURES WITH <br />WOMEN AND CHILDREN (SAN LEANDRO SHELTER); DAMS STREET FAMILY <br />RESOURCE CENTER; PROJECT LITERACY; AND EDEN COUNCIL FOR HOPE AND <br />OPPORTUNITY FOR LANDLORD-TENANT COUNSELING AND FAIR HOUSING <br />SERVICES <br />CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and Building Futures <br />With Women and Children (BFWC -San Leandro Shelter), Davis Street Family Resource <br />Center (DSFRC), Project Literacy, and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity (ECHO) for <br />landlord-tenant counseling services and fair housing services, copies of which are attached, have <br />been presented to this Council. <br />The City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof are hereby authorized <br />for the CDBG public services grant amounts of $28,143 for BFWC's San Leandro Shelter, <br />$24,913 for DSFRC, $28,143 for Project Literacy, $27,911 for ECHO's landlord-tenant services, <br />and $14,000 for ECHO's fair housing services. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 15th day of June, 2009, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Mayor Santos (1) <br />~-~-~ <br />ATTEST: ~~~~.11,f.G~~ 'Z'~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
