It came up at the June 15 City Council <br />meeting and also at the Rules Committee meeting. The direction is that there would be 18 to 24 <br />months to do a merger, and in the meantime have no more than one meeting per month for each <br />body. It is likely that for staff continuity purposes, the BZA would meet on the first Thursday of <br />the month, with the Planning Commission meeting on the third Thursday. <br />
