LJ <br />DowntownSanLeandro.com <br />In addition to providing <br />resources for the community, <br />leasing information and tools to <br />local property owners and existing <br />retailers, the Downtown San <br />Leandro website has added a new <br />feature. Visitors to the website now <br />have the ability to subscribe to the <br />Downtown San Leandro news feed <br />or sign up to receive email news <br />alerts. <br />There has been a lot of <br />positive feedback received from <br />those who have visited the website. <br />We will be implementing new <br />strategies next quarter to increase <br />the traffic to the website. <br />Wa yf in d i ng <br />P r o g r a m <br />Proposals for a cohesive <br />way-finding signage program <br />have been received and meetings <br />with these vendors have taken <br />place. E A N D 8 tl <br />Owner <br />Main Street Property <br />Services coordinated tivith the City <br />to complete the installation of a new <br />meter prior to the completion of the <br />city's street improvements, which <br />will allow for re-tenanting at 151 <br />West Joaquin Avenue. <br />Meetings with Pelton Plaza's <br />management were held to discuss <br />the current developments taking <br />place in the Downtown and about <br />the future of Pelton Plaza. Main <br />Outreach <br />Street has introduced Management <br />to SZFM Design Studio, a renowned <br />architectural firm, and has toured <br />the property with SZFM, the city <br />and the Pelton Plaza Management <br />to discussed opportunities where <br />Pelton Plaza can make improvements <br />to transform the center into a more <br />pedestrian-friendly environment. <br />Main Street has also encouraged <br />Pelton Plaza to obtain SZFM Design <br />Studio to complete a work shldy for <br />the center. <br />Letter Writing Campaign <br />A letter writing campaign <br />has been launched this quarter to <br />draw interest from prospective <br />retailers and restaurants that the <br />community would like to see in <br />their downtown. Many resources <br />have been dedicated to reach out <br />to groups in the community as <br />well as local residents, those <br />who work in San Leandro and <br />those who responded to the <br />Downtown San Leandro survey <br />conducted last year. In addition <br />to these efforts, a Downto~Tn San <br />Leandro booth has been reserved <br />at the seasonal Farmers' Market <br />where people are encouraged <br />to participate in this campaign <br />to bring these amazing retailers <br />and restaurants to Downtown <br />San Leandro. <br />Many letters have already <br />been written and we continue to <br />receive wonderful support from <br />the community who are excited <br />to contribute to the revitalization <br />of their downtown. <br />
