at no charge to the District. Debris box service shall be provided at the same <br />rate charged to the City by ACI. <br />b. ACI agrees to initiate Services at all school sites within the ACI service area <br />as early as August 3, 2009, but no later than August 24, 2009. <br />c. Representatives from the City, the District and ACI will conduct waste audits <br />at each facility prior to the start of service and again within three months of <br />the start of service to establish waste generation rates at each facility site. <br />Garbage service levels shall not exceed levels identified in Appendix A. <br />Recyclables, and green waste service levels shall be determined by ACI and <br />the District with the City's approval. The District may request additional <br />collection of bins and carts, at no charge, at the conclusion of the school year, <br />as needed. The District may also request debris box service for green waste at <br />their Maintenance Yard at no charge. The debris box for green waste will be <br />serviced on an as needed basis. <br />d. The District shall implement recycling collection in classrooms, meeting <br />rooms and offices at all facilities using the recycling bins provided by the <br />City in 2005. Additional recycling bins will be provided by the City to the <br />District at no charge on an as needed basis. District shall collect and recycle <br />mixed paper, cardboard, bottles, cans, and all other materials accepted for <br />recycling by ACI. <br />e. No later than the 2010-2011 school year, District shall establish a lunchtime <br />waste reduction and recycling program including the elimination of <br />Styrofoam food service trays and the establishment of food and food-soiled <br />paper recycling in food service areas. <br />II. Term of this Agreement <br />This agreement shall be in effect for ten (10) years from the date of this Agreement, <br />and shall coincide with the term of the Franchise Agreement between the City and <br />ACI. <br />III. Termination <br />Either party may terminate this Agreement with or without cause by delivery of <br />written notice of election to terminate at least six (6) months in advance.
