Council Member Glaze noted the furniture costs were discussed by the Policy Subcommittee, and they will be coming back to Council with policies related to future expenditures. C. City Council Comments 1. Council Member Glaze asked for Council consensus to proceed with the Monarch ordinances. There was consensus of the City Council to direct staff to proceed with the Monarch ordinances. 2. Council Member Loeffler said the Disaster Preparedness Program Implementation Committee meeting had been canceled and the Subcommittee had been dissolved without Council action. He said he was unaware of the Disaster Preparedness Program Implementation Ad Hoc Committee mentioned in the staff report. Mayor Corbett clarified that a Council Committee could not be dissolved without Council action. Interim City Manager Grycz noted the content of her recent staff report and that the issue would go before the Council for discussion at the February 3, 1997, City Council meeting. Council Member Glaze commented on the previous actions by the Disaster Preparedness Program Implementation Ad Hoc Committee and said there was no need to have two committees. Council Member Loeffler asked for additional information regarding the community Disaster Preparedness Program Implementation Ad Hoc Committee; he said community involvement is important. 9.
