CALL TO ORDER <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Galvan, Glaze, Loeffler, Lothrop, Polvorosa, Young; <br />Mayor Corbett <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />Mayor Corbett requested a change in the order of the agenda to conduct Public <br />Comments and Consent Calendar prior to the Public Hearings. Council concurred <br />with the request. <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited <br />to make any comments related to Agenda items, or other items of public <br />interest, at this time. <br />A. Susan Boland, 1901 Nome Street, said she is in favor of the two-way stop <br />signs on Nome Street and the speedhumps on Sitka Street. She submitted <br />letters in support from several neighbors. She said she had obtained <br />petition signatures from property owners in favor of installation of the <br />speedhumps. She urged the Council to approve the actions. <br />B. Ed Shapiro, 764 Bridge Road, spoke in favor of the school bond and <br />invited everyone to attend the celebration at Everybody's Bagels on <br />Tuesday at 8:05 p.m. <br />C. Sandra Halbert, 1923 Nome Street, said she is in favor of the speedhumps <br />and stop signs on Nome and Sitka Streets. <br />D. Carey Walker, 471 Santa Monica, asked about previous school lottery <br />funds; commented on imposing a fee at Marina Park and the five Federally <br />funded police officers; and said he disagrees with building a sports <br />complex. <br />E. Ray Lucas, 1801 Nome Street, supports the speedhumps and stop signs. <br />F. Odeter Waters, 13517 Aurora Drive, is supportive of the school bond. <br />
