1 ' <br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council, Page - 3 - <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, and San Leandro <br />Economic Development Agency Joint Meeting - April 7, 1997 <br />D. Carey Walker, 471 Santa Monica, asked if the City owned the recycling <br />company and said he does not support the striping of East 14th Street. <br />E. Walter Boland, 1901 Nome Street, commented on damage to vehicles from <br />potholes versus speed humps. He supports speed humps. <br />F. Greg Lucas, 1801 Nome Street, supports the speed humps. <br />G. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, commented on earthquake insurance <br />for homeowners with regard to being mandatory or permissive. He asked <br />if the Redevelopment Agency and Economic Development Agency are budgeted <br />separately. <br />H. Laverne Anderson, 1495 149th Avenue, thanked the Council for the work <br />completed at the corner property in the Halcyon area. He said he <br />supports the proposed businesses in the downtown. <br />5. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered <br />for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. <br />Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br />Items 5.D and 5.E were removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business. <br />The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: <br />M/S/C Lothrop and 6alvan.
