(2807/2323) <br />M/S/C Lothrop and Polvorosa. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />D. Matter of Planning Commission Request to Develop a Design Review <br />Ordinance (requests City Council direction to begin developing a Design <br />Review Program to be included in the City's Zoning Code). <br />Steve Emslie, Planning Manager, gave a brief staff report and concluded <br />by stating that it is requested that the Council support the development <br />of a Design Review Ordinance and Program to be included in the City's <br />Zoning Code. <br />Council Member Glaze expressed concerns with how specific areas will be <br />addressed and how boundaries would be defined. Staff indicated there <br />would be an outreach effort to the community and that the process would <br />be an interactive one. <br />Council Member Galvan indicated he is supportive of the request and <br />stated his concern for the continued, timely processing of development <br />applications. <br />Minute Order No. 97-24, Matter of Planning Commission Request to Develop <br />a Design Review Ordinance (requests City Council direction to begin <br />developing a Design Review Program to be included in the City`s Zoning <br />Code). (1024) <br />The City Council directed staff to begin developing a Design Review <br />Program and Ordinance to be included in the City's Zoning Code. <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Polvorosa.
