Resolution. No. 97-60, Resolution Calling a Public Hearing on the <br />Adoption of the City Manager's Proposed Budget, Fiscal Year 1997-98 <br />(sets Public Hearing date of June 16, 1997, for consideration of the <br />1997-98 budget). (1051) <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution Adding Title 32, Chapter 1 to the San Leandro Administrative <br />Code Related to Regulation of Professional Filming and Videotaping <br />Activities (adds Title 32, Chapter 1 to the San Leandro Administrative <br />Code to require a permit process for all professional filming within the <br />City of San Leandro). <br />Kathy Ornelas, Community Relations Representative, gave a brief staff <br />report and recommended that Council establish regulations for <br />professional filming and photography within the City of San Leandro. <br />In response to a question by Vice Mayor Loeffler, Ms. Ornelas noted that <br />student filming would require a permit as any possible impacts to the <br />streets and/or residents needs to be reviewed; but, depending on the <br />scope of the filming, fees could be waived by the City Manager. <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br />Resolution No. 97-61, Resolution Adding Title 32, Chapter 1 to the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code Related to Regulation of Professional <br />Filming and Videotaping Activities (adds Title 32, Chapter 1 to the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code to require a permit process for all <br />professional filming within the City of San Leandro).
