Ordinance No. 97-021, An Ordinance Establishing Compensation of City Council Members (establishes the salary of City Council Members at $816 per month). (1315) - Adopted 0. Ordinance No. 97-022, An Ordinance Adding Article 2, Chapter 11, Title I to the San Leandro Municipal Code Establishing a Voluntary Campaign Expenditure Limit for Elections to City Offices. (1413/1055) - Adopted 4. NEW BUSINESS A. Matter of Economic Development Marketing Plan. Nanci Klein, Economic Development Coordinator, gave the staff report and noted the recommendation has been amended to include that the Council consider appointing the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAG) to serve as the Ad Hoc Committee. Members of the Council would include Mayor Corbett, Council Member Galvan, and Council Member Loeffler. Additional members could be appointed by the committee for those vacancies on the current EDAC where members have moved on. A report regarding the appointments will be transmitted to the Council through the Weekly Update. Council Member Young suggested the Scope of Services be amended to add one member of the Youth Advisory Commission (YAC). Ms. Klein, in response to Council Member Young, clarified that they hope to have the whole plan fulfilled within a year's time. The Strategy Plan should be completed within four months, then creation of the logo and piece will begin. Vice Mayor Loeffler echoed the request for representation from the YAC. He also clarified with staff that there will be representation from the School Districts. The following Resolution and Motion were then introduced: - Resolution No. 97-91, Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and Coakley Heagerty Advertising and Public Relations for an Economic Development Marketing Plan.
