Resolution No. 97-101, Resolution Approving Certification and Mutual <br />Indemnification Agreement Related to Proposition 218 Requirements for <br />Assessments and Fees on the 1997-98 Secured Property Tax Roll (provides <br />certification to Alameda County that City assessments on the 1997-98 <br />secured property tax roll meet all the requirements of Proposition <br />218). (1170) <br />J. Resolution No. 97-102, Resolution Adding Title 1, Chapter 5, to the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code, Regarding City Council - Car Allowance for <br />the Mayor. (1315/2318) <br />K. Ordinance No. 97-023, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 29, Title IV, of the <br />San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to the Regulation of the Public <br />Display of Harmful Material (provides language which more closely <br />follows the language used in Section 313 and 313.1 of the California <br />Penal Code; broadens the definitions of the Section; prohibits the <br />display of harmful matter in any commercial establishment other than <br />"adults only" areas; and requires opaque displays or blinder racks in <br />areas where minors are permitted). (1413) <br />- Adopted <br />L. An Ordinance Amending Section 6-1-265 of Title VI, Chapter 1 of the San <br />Leandro Municipal Code Regulating Skateboards. (1413) <br />Council Member Polvorosa requested that this item be removed from the <br />Consent Calendar and taken off the calendar until August 18, 1997, in <br />order to address the issue of the City's skateboard park. He would like <br />wording to be inserted to address his concerns that skateboarding be <br />allowed in those City parks which are designated for such uses. <br />This item was removed from the Consent Calendar and continued to the <br />August 18, 1997, City Council Meeting. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution No. 97-103, Resolution of Intention to Vacate a Public Right <br />of Way, Portion of Pike Avenue, Approximately 395 Feet ± West of Wicks <br />Boulevard to Griffith Street (authorizes and sets the date for a Public <br />Hearing on September 2, 1997, to adopt an Ordinance of Vacation by the <br />City of a portion of Pike Avenue).
