Vice Mayor Loeffler: The compromise of where we are at right now, to me, is the appropriate thing. What I am reminded of, though, is the importance of our written record of agreements on this issue. Because, I, as a Council Member -when this issue has been hanging around for 10 years, you come back and read something. If it isn't for somebody on this Council who has some memory of it, you are sitting there trying to make it real. And, it's very hard to make it real sometimes and you get lost in the language. So, to me it's been very clear tonight where Gordon is coming from. It's very clear where Bob is coming from. But, I hope we can all, in a sense, walk away in the next few weeks here with a clear written agreement of where we are going. Mayor Corbett: That's why it is always important to close negotiations on something as quickly as possible. Because it is difficult when it gets strung out over years -there's no doubt about it. Council Member Young: May I suggest that since we typically have action Minutes, that we request the City Clerk to take all of this particular discussion, as for the record, and get it for the record. Just this particular discussion so that the items that we've brought up are not lost in the action Minutes.
