' Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting Page - 10 - <br />November 3, 1997 <br />4. Council Member Polvorosa commented on the successful Halloween Night <br />in the north area and commented on the great level of business <br />participation. He also noted the Farmers' Market last Sunday was <br />very successful and noted the participation of local legislators. <br />5. Council Member Galvan paid his respects to the Bruner family for the <br />recent loss of Lee Bruner. He commented on his participation in the <br />community and noted that he had a great deal of respect for him. <br />6. Mayor Corbett commented on the upcoming Veterans' Day Parade on <br />November 11, 1997, at 11:00 a.m. She, too, commented on the <br />wonderful tribute to Lee Bruner in the Times and noted that he was <br />involved in many aspects of the community, adding that he was past <br />President of the Chamber of Commerce. She expressed her sympathies <br />to his wife, Barbara, and noted that Lee was known far his many <br />random acts of kindness. <br />9. ADJOURN <br />The City Council adjourned its meeting in Memory of Lee Bruner at 8:50 p.m. <br />to Monday, November 10, 1997, at 8:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers for <br />a Special Meeting and a Work Session immediately following the Special <br />Meeting. <br />APPROVED: <br />EL N M.
