PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Presentation of Commendation to the Golf Course Technical Committee. <br />Eunice Conley, Harry Lema, and William Perras were present to accept the <br />Commendation. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Matter of A-97-10; Reclassification from P Professional District to P <br />(PD) Professional Planned Development Overlay District; and PD-97-8; <br />Planned Development; to Construct a 3,900-Square-Foot Office Building at <br />609 Callan Avenue (Southwest Corner of Callan and Bancroft Avenues); <br />Assessor's Parcel Number 77-465-4; Developer: I. Cornelius; P <br />Professional District. Continued from the November 3, 1997, City <br />Council Meeting. <br />- Motion Certifying the Negative Declaration for PD-97-8 as complete <br />and in compliance with CEQA requirements; Approving the <br />Reclassification of A-97-10 to P (PD) Professional Planned <br />Development Overlay District; and Approving the Planned Development, <br />PD-97-8, subject to the Conditions of Approval. <br />- An Ordinance Reclassifying Certain Property Herein Described as to <br />Zoning District and Amending Zoning Map (A-97-10), 609 Callan Avenue. <br />- Passed to Print <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br />matter, Elmer Penaranda, Assistant City Planner, gave a brief staff <br />report. The Mayor clarified that the project meets all parking <br />requirements, and Vice Mayor Loeffler said he is pleased with the <br />integrity of the site. <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br />
