C. Minute Order No. 97-54, The City Council approved the nomination of Odeter S. Waters to the Human Resources Commission, District 6. (2024) M/S/C Lothrop and Polvorosa. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 D. Minute Order No. 97-55, The City Council approved the re-nomination of Ernest S. Low to the Library-Historical Commission, District 6. (1017) M/S/C Lothrop and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 E. Minute Order No. 97-56, The City Council approved the nomination of Herb Fajors to the Personnel Relations Board, At Large. (1016) M/S/C Loeffler and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 F. Minute Order No. 97-57, The City Council approved the nomination of Raffi Demirjian to the Planning Commission, District 6. (1018) M/S/C Lothrop and Loeffler. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 G. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with Jansen Consulting for Development of a Downtown Revitalization Plan (provides for property-owner outreach, a marketing study, tenant-recruitment strategy, and urban design). Cost: $50,000.00 Nanci Klein, Economic Development Specialist, gave a brief presentation. She thanked the Council, City Manager, and Assistant City Manager for giving her the opportunity to work and serve in the City of San Leandro. Council Member Young commented that the Business Walk would not have gotten off the ground without Nanci. She wished her well as she moves on to the City of San Jose. Council Member Lothrop commented on how much she appreciated Nanci's efforts while working for San Leandro and wished her well. Mayor Corbett commented that it has been a joy working with Nanci and thanked her for putting her heart and soul into everything she did. The City Manager thanked Nanci, as well, and introduced Bob Lyons, who will be serving in her position on an interim basis.
