Staff-Initiated Text Changes <br />Subsequent to publication of the Draft Mitigated Negative Draft, staff made the following <br />changes. Deleted text is shown in s#il~gh; added text is underlined. <br />Page 1-5: is revised to read as follows: <br />The San Leandro Recycled Water Project (Project) would generate many benefits, including <br />saving approximately ~ 35 million gallons of potable water; saving Marina Park and Monarch <br />Bay Golf Complex money that is currently being spent for potable water; reducing the amount of <br />treated wastewater disposed of in the San Francisco Bay; and promoting the SWRCB's policies <br />of beneficial reuse of recycled water to replace potable water where possible. <br />Page 2-15, and page 3-2: Mitigation Measure B-1 is revised to read as follows: <br />Measure B-1: The following measures shall be implemented prior to issuance of grading <br />permits for Phase 2 and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer to prevent impacts to <br />burrowing owl. Mitigation Measure B-1 does not apply to Phase 1 since no burrowing owl <br />burrows were found in the vicinity of-that phase of the protect. <br />
