POLICIES AND ACTIONS <br />Policy 3.08 LIVE-WORK DEVELOPMENT <br />Provide opportunities for "live-work" <br />development as a buffer land use between <br />residential and non-residential areas, and to <br />provide a housing resource for artists, <br />craftspersons, and persons working from home <br />The design of live-work projects should be <br />sensitive to the surrounding areas. <br />PROGRESS <br />The City continues to work on a <br />case-by-case basis with developers <br />interested in live-work projects. Staff <br />also talks directly with developers <br />about appropriate areas within San <br />Leandro. Because of limited <br />resources, staff has not yet worked <br />on a live-work ordinance because of <br />Limited opportunities for this type of <br />development.
