New development that would occur under the provisions of the plan would undergo separate CEQA review, however, the East <br />14m S <br />treet Corridor is an older strip commercial corridor that contained a number of automotive-oriented uses. New developments <br />may be proposed on parcels that contained a previous use that could have use chemicals and other substances that could lead to soil <br />or groundwater contamination.
