The Annual Action Plan is prepared by linking the three "goals" or outcomes in the <br />federal housing law (provide decent housing, suitable living environment, and expand <br />economic development) to the needs and goals in the Consolidated Plan. <br />Public Housing <br />San Leandro is under the jurisdiction of the Alameda County Housing Authority. San <br />Leandro has no public housing. The City will continue to provide letters of support for <br />future applications to HUD on behalf of the Alameda County Housing Authority Section <br />8 Rental Assistance Program. <br />Fair Housing <br />Under the CDBG and HOME certifications to HUD, the City certifies that it will <br />"affirmatively further fair housing." The City completed and adopted the City's portion <br />of the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing conducted as part of the Alameda <br />County Consortium. The City will implement the fair housing action plan developed in <br />the table below. The program will be administered through a fair housing service agency <br />obtained through an open RFP process. <br />Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing <br />Problems Actions <br />1.
