EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Document Ima~in~ System <br />ECS Imaging, Inc. will install a LaserFiche United document imaging system, a dedicated <br />database for the Police Department that meets U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) security <br />requirements, a CD publishing plug-in for disaster recovery, and other features for efficient <br />document retrieval and easy access to public documents for both staff and the community. All <br />modules outlined in Exhibit B must be installed, tested, and accepted by the Project Manager <br />before final payment will be made. <br />Document Conversion <br />ECS Imaging, Inc. will convert existing imaged documents and their associated indices, as <br />directed by the City, from their OTG/Legato format into LaserFiche in a manner that is <br />acceptable to the City. ECS will provide 9,000 representative samples of converted records (one <br />percent of the total number of records to be converted) at no charge to the City and will wait for <br />the City's written approval prior to commencing the actual conversion prof ect. <br />Trainin <br />ECS Imaging, Inc. will provide training in-house for staff who will administer the imaging <br />system as well as for staff who are designated as departmental liaisons as scheduled and directed <br />by the City. <br />Consultant will also provide City with two sets of hardcopy manuals for the system components, <br />one for Information Services and one for the Project Manager, that City is authorized to duplicate <br />for departmental use. <br />Support <br />ECS Imaging, Inc. will provide ongoing support and upgrades to the system ("LSAP") under a <br />standard maintenance agreement that will be renewed annually. During the installation, <br />implementation, and acceptance phases of this project, ECS Imaging, Inc. will provide two-hour <br />response time. This requirement will be included in all future maintenance agreements. <br />Test Database <br />ECS Imaging, Inc. will set up a test Police Department database on the department's new <br />database and will demonstrate the ease of use for Police Department volunteers at no charge to <br />the City. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between May 3, 2004 <br />City of San Leandro and ECS Imaging, lnc.
