IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-167 (2980) <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING EXISTING RESOLUTION NO. 2003-093 <br />(REQUIRING THE REMOVAL OF POLES, OVERHEAD WIRES AND ASSOCIATED <br />OVERHEAD STRUCTURES FROM PORTIONS OF WEST ESTUDILLO AVENUE AND <br />ABUTTING PROPERTIES, INCLUDING INTERSECTING STREETS) <br />TO IMPLEMENT THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION (CPUC) 100 <br />FOOT RULE AND PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC (PG&E) PANEL CONVERSION RULE <br />FOR UTILITY UNDERGROUND DISTRICT ON WEST ESTUDILLO AVENUE <br />BETWEEN HAYS STREET AND SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, West Estudillo Avenue from Hays Street to San Leandro Boulevard is part <br />of the Downtown Pedestrian Corridor project and carries a heavy volume of vehicular and <br />pedestrian traffic as required by CPUC Rule 20A and Rule 32A; and <br />WHEREAS, a section of West Estudillo Avenue, from Hays Street to San Leandro <br />Boulevard has overhead wires and supporting structures as required by CPUC Rule 20A and <br />Rule 32A; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of this Council and notice duly given, a public <br />hearing on the amendment of Resolution No. 2003-093 for the existing utility underground <br />district on West Estudillo Avenue between Hays Street and San Leandro Boulevard for removal <br />of poles, overhead wires, and associated overhead structures from the hereinafter described areas <br />was regularly held on November 15, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of such hearing has been given to all affected property owners as <br />shown on the last equalized assessment roll and the utilities concerned in the matter and for the <br />time required by law; and <br />RE30LUTION NO. 2004-167 <br />
