EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />DESCRIPTION <br />The Bay Trail Slough Bridge project will provide a continuous Class 1 bicycle trail connecting <br />existing San Francisco Bay Trail at Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline to existing San Francisco Bay <br />Trail on Port of Oakland property adjacent to Galbraith Golf Course. The project includes <br />completing professional services for the following: <br />• Bicycle/pedestrian bridge (approximately 320 feet length) across the San Leandro <br />Slough. Bridge design criteria to include: <br />0 12.00 feet minimum width <br />0 3.00 feet minimum clearance above MHHW <br />o Low maintenance <br />o Support apatrol/maintenance vehicle <br />• Transition between the bridge south abutment and existing trail at Oyster Bay <br />• Connecting bicycle trail (approximately 600 feet length) from the north bridge abutment <br />to existing trail adj acent to the Galbraith Golf Course <br />• Widening the existing levee to provide a bicycle trail separated from the City's Water <br />Pollution Control Plant access road <br />• Surveying and mapping the area to provide sufficient detail to complete the project <br />• Geotechnical analysis <br />• Provide technical information throughout the project in support of environmental <br />document and permit application processes <br />BASIC SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Task 1 -Project Management/Coordination/Meeting <br />Subtask 1.1 Project Management/Coordination <br />Consultant shall provide project management and coordination for the design of this project. <br />Consultant shall be responsible for managing the geotechnical sub-consultant team, <br />providing the resources to complete the job, monitoring the project budgets and schedule, <br />conducting project team meetings, implementing the quality assurance/quality control <br />programs, coordinating with the City and assisting City to pertain permits from regulatory <br />agencies. <br />Subtask 1.2 Project Meetings <br />Consultant anticipates minimum five meetings with the City to review the progress of the <br />project and obtain endorsement for the design.
