.~, <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-~23 (1022/2318) <br />RESOLUTION ADDING TITLE 12, CHAPTER 14 TO THE SAN LEANDRO <br />ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES FOR THE <br />RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has created a Residential Parking Permit Program to <br />alleviate parking congestion in residential areas; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish guidelines for the establishment of residential <br />areas that will be subject to the Residential Parking Permit Program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. Title 12, Chapter 14 is added to the San Leandro Administrative Code to read as <br />follows: <br />12.14.100 INITIATION PROCESS. The addition of a neighborhood to the <br />City's Residential Parking Permit Program maybe initiated by the <br />City Council or City Manager or by petitions as specified in the <br />City's Residential Parking Permit Ordinance. <br />12.14.105 PETITION PROCESS. Area residents requesting that a <br />neighborhood to be added to the program must submit a petition on <br />a form to be supplied by the City's Engineering and Transportation <br />Department pursuant to the requirements of the City's Residential <br />Parking Permit Program. Only residents that are adult property <br />owners in the proposed residential parking area are qualified to <br />submit petitions. The residents must define the boundaries of the <br />
