The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle maintenance and <br />upkeep for a minimum of three (3) buses including, but not limited to: <br />Preventative Maintenance Inspections (manufacturer specifications). <br />Vehicle fueling. <br />Vehicle cleaning (interior and exterior) to standards acceptable to the CITY. <br />California Highway Patrol inspections <br />Exterior repairs, including painting and bodywork to standards accepted by the <br />CITY. <br />Vehicle supplies and parts inventory. <br />C. Vehicle Branding <br />A generic white vehicle is preferred. The CITY will provide the CONTRACTOR with <br />a logo wrap for the exterior of each in-service bus and shall install and remove these <br />logos at CITY's cost.. <br />XIII. SERVICE STANDARDS <br />A. Service Productivity <br />The CONTRACTOR is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the Flex-Route <br />Shuttle. <br />Service productivity will be measured as the number of passenger hoardings per <br />revenue hour operator. The service productivity goal for the Flex-Route Shuttle is 15 <br />hoardings per revenue hour. <br />B. On Time Performance <br />On time performance is determined by the departure and arrival time of each bus at the <br />Flex-Route Shuttle start/finish point. To be on-time, each bus must depart the Flex- <br />Route Shuttle start point no later than five (5) minutes after the scheduled depart time <br />for each run, or arrive back at the Flex-Route Shuttle finish point no later than five <br />minutes after the scheduled arrival time for each run. The minimum on time <br />performance measure requires that ninety-five (95) percent of all scheduled runs depart <br />and arrive at the Flex-Route Shuttle start/finish point within five (5) minutes of the <br />published schedule time. <br />EXHIBIT A Page 12 of 13 <br />G:AO]iver~Paratransit~MV Contract Aug 03 -Feb 04 <br />
