Maintain daily dispatch records of all trip requests, cancellations, no-shows, <br />denials, and completed trips and maintain total daily hoardings by scheduled trip, <br />including a breakdown of hoardings by persons using a wheelchair. <br />Preparation of monthly management reports according to CITY requirements. <br />Provide CITY with input on scheduling, service planning and policy issues. <br />Provide feedback on bus stop and route changes. <br />IV. SERVICE ELIGIBILITY AND COVERAGE <br />A. Service Area <br />The service area includes all area within the San Leandro city limits. The City of <br />Leandro has been divided into East Side and West Side areas for scheduling purposes. <br />B. Hours of Service Coverage <br />The Flex-Route Shuttle will operate three days a week between the hours of 9:00 AM <br />and 5:00 PM, according to schedules provided by the CITY. <br />The CONTRACTOR will provide trip booking coverage for the Flex-Route Shuttle, <br />Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to facilitate <br />advance trip requests. <br />C. Eligibility <br />The Flex-Route Shuttle is intended for seniors and persons with disabilities. The City <br />will develop eligibility criteria, assess applications and provide the CONTRACTOR <br />with an updated registration list for trip booking. All registrants will be issued a <br />registration card for presentation to Flex-Route Shuttle bus drivers upon boarding. The <br />CONTRACTOR will be responsible for the verification of all trip requests to ensure <br />eligibility. <br />Eligible passengers will be able to travel with anon-registrant companion to assist with <br />parcels and act as a Personal Care Attendants (PCA) if the registrant feels one is <br />required. All companions must be identified at the time a trip is requested or when the <br />registrant boards at a designated bus stop.
