Rocha, Executive Director <br />Phone: 510-581-9380 <br />Project Name: Landlord Tenant Counseling Services <br />PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES <br />Provide landlord tenant counseling services to residents of San Leandro, including <br />responding to inquiries by tenant or landlord, explaining rights and counsel, and <br />providing general housing referrals. Administer the Rental Assistance program. <br />PERFORMANCE MEASURES <br />SUBRECIPIENT SHALL, FOR THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT: <br />Serve an estimated number of clients: <br />420 inquiries/complaints a year <br />36 mediations per year <br />5 household rents guaranteed <br />51 % of the clients must be low income (less than 80% of the median county income). <br />2. Respond to inquiries within two business days. <br />Inquiries shall be answered by trained counselors and information given that <br />includes the rights and responsibilities of the tenants and landlords, an explanation of <br />housing laws and California civil Code. Tenants will be provided the booklet, "Answers <br />to Tenant Questions", if the questions are covered by the booklet. <br />3.
