EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Task 1 -Project Management, Meetings and Workshops, Quality <br />Assurance/Quality Control <br />Kennedy/Jenks' Project Manager (PM) will oversee the project scope, schedule and budget, <br />and quality assurance/quality control program. <br />1.1 -Project administration and management <br />Project administrative and management tasks are expected to include: managing in-house staff; <br />coordinating with San Leandro staff; monitoring the scope, schedule and budget; planning and <br />monitoring project activities; arid preparing the Final Draft Report and Final Report. The PM will <br />be the primary point of contact with the City for the duration of the project, and will develop and <br />maintain close communications with all project participants. <br />1.2 -Meetings and Workshops <br />Up to four meetings have been budgeted that include akick-off meeting and up to 3 status <br />meetings. It is assumed that each meeting will be attended by up to 3 Kennedy/Jenks staff and <br />will be up to 2 hours in length. <br />In addition to the meetings, a workshop will be held that will be attended by up to 4 <br />Kennedy/Jenks staff and will be up to 4 hours in length. The workshop will be held at the mid- <br />point of the project and include presentation of the results of the market assessment, partial <br />completion of draft chapters, and initial reclaimed water alternatives that have been identified. <br />The content of the workshop is in accordance with the SWRCB 26 February 2003 letter. The <br />goal of the workshops will be to inform and get feedback from all project stakeholders, including <br />the City of San Leandro, other public agencies (including East Bay Dischargers Agencies <br />(EBDA), East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), East Bay Regional Parks (EBRP)), <br />potential recycled water users, environmental consultant, SWRCB and RWQCB, and other <br />interested parties. <br />1.3 -Quality assurance/quality control <br />Kennedy/Jenks' Project Manager will develop and monitor a Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br />(QA/QC) Plan for this project. The QA/QC plan will identify specific reference standards and <br />criteria, procedures for review of work in process, and procedures for review of draft and final <br />work products. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between <br />City of San Leantlro antl KennedylJenks Consultants--Exhibit A ~ Page 1 of 8 <br />
