2.5 Miscellaneous <br />• Unless specifically noted otherwise, all meetings with City Staff shall occur in <br />San Leandro City Hall located at 83S East 14`h Street in San Leandro during <br />normal business hours. <br />3.0 PROJECT SPECIFIC SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES <br />3.1 Concept Design Report/Schematic Design <br />Contractor shall complete and submit a Conceptual Design Report that includes the <br />Alternatives analysis for the installation of decorative street lighting and the Landscape <br />Architect's Schematic Design for the Streetscape Alternatives. This will be a 15% design <br />for the street lighting, schematic plan and typical sections for the Streetscape (crosswalk) <br />layout. This report shall: <br />• Assign program budgets. Project alternative probable construction costs shall be <br />defined by smallest reasonable project components/elements for use in sizing <br />project to meet City Budgetary Constraints <br />• Develop matrix of required permits/approvals <br />• Define alternatives <br />• Evaluate the constructability ofall project components/elements <br />• List Caltrans approval requirements <br />• Present design schedule <br />Conceptual Analysis for street lighting includes the evaluation of three alternatives: <br />1. Replace existing street lighting with new approximately 17.5' high decorative <br />street lighting and all new power system. Lights to be spaced as required to meet <br />illumination requirements but are not expected to align with existing streetlights <br />positions/spacing. <br />2. Replace existing street lighting with combination of "decorative poles greater than <br />17.5' in height with banners" and approximately 17.5' high decorative street <br />lighting and all new power system. <br />3. Add approximately 17.5' decorative street lighting at mid point of existing street <br />lighting and modify exist high street light poles and upgrade existing power <br />system or add new power system as required to operate the upgraded street <br />lighting system. <br />Architectural and Civil Engineering schematic design portions of the report will present <br />options for the crosswalk Streetscape. Contractor shall provide 22" x 34" perspective <br />graphics for each of these options. These graphics will be color hand drawn or photo <br />simulations to illustrate the perspective views.
