Inspections, conducted as <br />part of the regular construction compliance, will be conducted to ensure compliance of the <br />Developer and contractors with this requirement. <br />6. All details of construction, including, but not limited to, on-site pavement slopes, illumination, <br />drainage, etc., are subject to the approval of the City Engineer. <br />7. The City's Principal Engineer shall approve ingress to and egress from the project and all <br />traffic circulation patterns, traffic signs, driveway widths, sections and parking layout within <br />the project boundary. <br />8. All storm water runoff from the project shall be collected in an underground system and <br />conveyed to an appropriate storm drain system. Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations shall be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Engineer and the Alameda County Public Works Agency. <br />Written approval from the Alameda County Public Works Agency shall be submitted to the <br />City Engineer prior to the issuance of building permits. <br />9. The prof ect shall be graded to allow for the overland release of runoff into the Alameda County <br />Flood Control Facilities during a higher than design storm event and/or in the event of total <br />failure of the on-site storm drainage system. <br />10. Prior to performing any grading work on site, the Applicant shall submit all information <br />including a Grading Plan accompanied by Soils Engineering and Engineering Geology <br />Reports, in the accordance with requirements of the City of San Leandro Municipal Code Title <br />VII, Chapter 12 and obtain a grading permit. <br />11. To control both during and post construction storm water pollution, the Applicant shall comply <br />with the regulations and provisions contained in the City's Grading Ordinance, the City's <br />Storm Water Pollution Prevention Permit, and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination <br />System (NPDES), to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and the Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board. <br />12. The Clean Water program requires that, to filter and remove pollutants, impervious surfaces <br />do not connect directly to the storm drain system. To comply with this requirement, it is <br />recommended that the engineer explore methods of filtering the parking lot runoff through <br />oiUwater separator or other structural control (s). <br />i3. The project Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) shall include stormwater <br />pollution prevention and control measures for the operation and maintenance of the project <br />during and after construction for the review and approval by the City Engineer. The <br />SWPPPs shall identify Best Management Practices (BMPs) appropriate to the uses conducted <br />on-site in order to limit to the maximum extent practicable the entry of pollutants into <br />stormwater runoff. <br />14. The plans shall also include erosion control measures to prevent soil, dirt and debris from <br />entering the storm drain system, in accordance with the practices outlined in the ABAG <br />Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook, California Storm Water Best management practice <br />
