Street Lighting Plans and Details <br />Contractor will prepare the street lighting system plans and detail sheets for the layout of <br />the new systems along the widened Marina Boulevard. The plan sheets will be prepared <br />at a scale of 1-inch equals 20-feet and will show the location of the new street light poles, <br />wiring and conduit system and power sources and cabinet locations. <br />Assumptions: <br />• It is assumed PG&E will furnish service power to the new street light and traffic signal <br />systems. Contractor will coordinate services points with PG&E and show the same on the <br />appropriate system plans. <br />10. Pavement Delineation/Sign/lletail Plans <br />Contractor will prepare pavement delineation and sign plans on the roadway plans base, <br />to show permanent traffic lines, pavement markings and roadway signs for the project. <br />These plans will be prepared at a scale of 1-inch equals 20-feet. Sign details will be from <br />the Caltrans Traffic Manual, standard sign manuals. No special sign details will be <br />provided. <br />Assumptions: <br />• Signing and pavement delineation will be on combined plan sheets <br />• Signs for the project will be from the Caltrans Traffic Manual. No special sign details <br />will be required. <br />11. Traffic Signal Plans <br />Contractor will prepare permanent traffic signal plans for modification of the signal at the <br />intersection of Alvarado Street/Marina Boulevard. The signal plans will be prepared at f- <br />inch equals 20-feet scale based on the roadway plans and intersection details. Each signal <br />will have standard signal face indicators, pedestrian heads and will conform to City <br />standards. Hardwire interconnect will be provided between the signal at Marina/San <br />Leandro Boulevard and pre-emption of the two railroad crossings. <br />A detail sheet for the signal electrical service, pole details and conductor schedule will be <br />prepared to supplement the signal plan sheets to provide the standard information <br />required to construct the signal installation. <br />Assumptions_ <br />• City to provide peak hour traffic counts. <br />• Railroad signal plans for SPRR crossing are not included. <br />• Traffic /railroad signal plans for San Leandro Boulevard are not included. <br />Exhibit A Page 10 of 13 <br />STIP Marina Widening <br />
