design phases to coordinate the design, discuss and resolve issues that have the potential of <br />affecting the project design, cost, and schedule, and make informed decisions. <br />Meeting Agendas and Meeting Minutes <br />Prior to each meeting with the City, the Contractor will prepare a list of any data requests, action <br />items, and agenda items the Contractor wants to include in the upcoming meeting. Contractor <br />will prepare the meeting minutes for the project meetings with the City and send a copy of the <br />minutes to the City. After receiving the comments on the minutes from the City, the Contractor <br />will review the comments and incorporate them into the minutes when appropriate. Contractor <br />will also prepare summary meeting minutes for meetings with outside agencies and submit them <br />to the City. <br />QUALITY CONTROL/QUALITY ASSURANCE (QC/QA) <br />Contractor will prepare plans, specifications, estimates, calculations, and other documents with a <br />high level of quality, free of technical and grammatical errors. The Contractor will implement <br />and maintain the following minimum quality control procedures during the preparation of plans, <br />specifications, estimates, calculations and all other documents relating to this project: <br />1. QGQA program in effect for the duration of this contract. <br />2. Design and calculations are independently checked, corrected and back checked. <br />3. When different disciplines are involved, means to assure that conflicts and misalignments <br />do not exist. <br />4. QGQA program shall provide for review and assurance of complete coordination and <br />compatibility between the plans, specifications and estimated quantities. <br />5. QC program shall include field reviews and review o~ all pertinent materials to assure <br />compatibility of design with existing facilities. <br />6. City reviews of these documents shall not be considered part of the QC/QA program, but <br />only intended to be for review of scope and to coordinate with other departments. <br />QC/QA, compatibility, workable design and constructability of the design is the <br />Contractor's sole responsibility. <br />Exhibit A Page 13 of 13 <br />STIP Marina Widening <br />
