EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES The following is the scope of work for landscape architectural design services for the Marina Entrance Improvement project. This contract includes Phases 2 and 3 for construction document preparation and construction support/administration. Scope of Improvements: Demolition of existing site features, construction and renovation of the existing ballfield area (approximately 4.2 acres) including new soccer and softball field overlays with backstops, new basketball courts, youth fitness/play area, new running path and miscellaneous site furnishings and landscaping. Phase 2 -Construction Documents & Specifications 2.01 Meetings: Attend a total of four (4) meetings to coordinate work in progress with the Engineering Department, discuss City's comments on progress submittals and to review project budget and schedule. 2.02 Cover Sheet: Prepare cover sheet in City's standard format including vicinity map, sheet index, general notes, etc. 2.03 Demolition Plan: Prepare plan at 1 "=20'-0" scale including legend and notes for demolition work for existing lawn and related irrigation and other items identified for removal under the Design Development phase. 2.04 Grading & Drainage Plan: Prepare plan at 1"=20 scale for grading and drainage of new paving and landscaping and other site improvements. Plan will be prepared by a licensed Civil Engineer.. 2.05 Irrigation Plan: Prepare plan at 1"=20'-0" scale including legend, details and notes for automatic irrigation system for all new and renovated landscape areas. 2.06 Planting Plan: Prepare plan at 1 "=20' scale including legend, details and notes for all new and renovated landscape areas. 2.07 Construction Details: Prepare construction details for proposed improvements described above under "Scope of Improvements".
