• Prepare basic block plan with all topographic and utilities information for detail <br />design <br />• Street improvement design and detail including new medians <br />• Storm drainage design <br />• Review of applicable -code and regulations <br />• Prepare outline specifications <br />• Coordination with EBMUD and PG&E for service point locations <br />• Prepare preliminary cost estimate and drawings submittal for review <br />• Prepare presentation materials <br />• Attend public meeting <br />• Two design team meetings with City <br />• Two meetings with City and Caltrans <br />• Project administration <br />Deliverables <br />• 8 plan sets on bond showing the location of all major new improvements showing <br />all new curbs, valley gutters, street furniture, trees, planters, crosswalks, bus stops, <br />parking stalls and handicap parking will be shown. The 35% design drawings <br />shall be prepared at appropriate scales. The plan sets shall include but not limited <br />to civil design plans and hadscape plans. Conceptual landscape plans, irrigation <br />plans and electrical plans are to be included for proof of concept and cost <br />estimation purposes. <br />• A Design Development Book will be prepared for the project and suitable <br />materials prepared for a public meeting to inform the residence and business <br />owners of the project <br />• Preliminary Quantity Take-Off and Cast Estimate <br />• Electronic files in AutoCAD format of the final drawings produced. <br />• Presentation materials for public meetings <br />Schedule <br />Preliminary Design 10 weeks from receipt of City's <br />Preliminary Engineering review <br />comments. <br />See attached schedule (Exhibit A-1) for breakdown. <br />Exhibit A Page 3 of 3 <br />6/l2/95 MacArthur Streetscape <br />
