EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />DESCRIPTION: <br />This contract is for preparation of a report that details 3 alternatives for renovation of <br />Burrell Field. Each alternative shall include a description, layout plan, and cost estimate. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES /DELIVERABLES: <br />1.0 Analysis and Program <br />1.01 Start Up Meeting <br />A meeting will be held with the Project Engineer to verify project schedule, and <br />scope of services. The proposed public meeting process will be reviewed. Lines of <br />communication and project responsibility will be established. Project base <br />information will be obtained, including aerial photo with contours. We will also <br />walk the project site to review the existing conditions. A preliminary list of issues <br />to be addressed will be developed. The consultant will be responsible for taking <br />all meeting minutes and distributing to all participants for every project meeting. <br />Initiate formation of a steering committee composed of City of San Leandro and <br />San Leandro School District staff. <br />1.02 City and School District Staff Interviews <br />City and School District operations and maintenance staff, programming staff, and <br />other appropriate staff will be interviewed to identify issues associated with the <br />current use of the facility. The interviews will also include site walks as <br />appropriate. <br />1.03 Site Reconnaissance <br />An on-ground reconnaissance of the project site will be conducted to photograph <br />and document all visually-apparent existing conditions. <br />1.04 Site Analysis <br />1.04a Site Assessment <br />Using the City-supplied topographic aerial photograph, prepare a site analysis <br />diagram that illustrates the existing conditions and issues to be addressed by the <br />altemative plans, including: <br />• Site context and surrounding land uses <br />• Traffic and circulation patterns <br />• Wind/sun <br />• Parking <br />• Lighting levels and coverage <br />• Support facilities and site structures <br />• Athletic field types, location, and condition <br />Exhibit A Page 1 of 4 <br />6/12/95 Burrell Field Reco~lfigurarion Study <br />
