Adoption of National Incident Management System 3 September 8, 2009 <br />City Council Committee Review and Action <br />None. Normally, this action would be reviewed by the San Leandro Disaster Council. However, should the City desire to apply for DHS grant funding in the future, <br />or should there be a need to request reimbursement from FEMA following a declared disaster, <br />funding to the City could be at risk if NIMS has not been adopted by the City of San Leandro. <br />Budget Authority <br />NJA <br />CONCLUSION <br />It is recommended that the City of San Leandro, by resolution, adopt the National Incident <br />Management System for emergency operations planning and implementation. <br />
