Discussion Regarding Project Updates and Upcoming Construction <br />Ken Joseph gave PowerPoint presentations regarding the following: <br />Project Updates <br />• Senior Center <br />o Utility work is being done in the building <br />• Downtown Lighting and Pedestrian Improvements <br />o Fountain is still being worked on <br />o Palm trees are in transit and will arrive in 2-3 weeks <br />o Tiles and remaining lights are being installed <br />• Washington / Beatrice / I-880 <br />o Utility relocation continues; anticipate one more month of work <br />o Caltrans contaminated materials removed <br />Mayor Santos heard that trees were going to be planted in the I-880/WashingtonBeatrice <br />project area and asked Ken if the project included trees. Ken will to look into it. <br />
