AGREEMENT, FOR FIELD TRIP TRANSPORTATION SERVICES <br />Between <br />San Lorenzo Unified School District <br />And <br />City of San Leandro Recreation and Human Services <br />This is an agreement between the City of San Leandro Recreation and Human Services, <br />hereinafter called CITY, and the San Lorenzo Unified School District, hereinafter called <br />SLLUSV. <br />I. PURPOSE & SCOPC: The purpose of this Agreement is to identify the roles and <br />rcaponsibilities of CITY and SLZUSD related to field trip transportation services <br />provided by SLZUSD to CITY. <br />ll. BACKGROUND: SLZUSD operates a school bus transportation fleet primarily for <br />home-to-school and field trip services required by the SLZUSD. On occasion, SLZUSD <br />may have availability to provide field trip transportation services at an agreed upon rate <br />for CITY. <br />III. SLZUSD RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT <br />Provide bus(es) and driver(s) to accommodate the requested trip <br />v Provide a cost estimate to the CITY based upon the attached trip rate sheet <br />IV. CITY RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT <br />Y Provide accurate timelines, addresses of location to be visited and passenger <br />counts to SLZUSD at lease 2 days prior to the scheduled trip <br />Supervision of passengers including but not limited to: ensuring that the behavior <br />of passengers meets SLZUSD conduct standards (Appendix B) while on or near a <br />school bus and ensuring that all passengers are accounted for at all times during <br />the f eld trip <br />v If trip timelines require it, provide a motel room for the driver at City's expense <br />V. TRIP RATES AND PAYMENTS: CITY agrees to pay SLZUSD within 30 days of <br />invoice presented by SLZUSD for the amount determined pursuant to Appendix A of this <br />agreement. Rates identified in Appendix A shall be increased each year, effective July 1s~ <br />by the percentage increase in the revenue limits (COLA) for California Unified School <br />Districts. <br />VL STATUS OF CCINTRACT: This is not an employment contract. Nothing herein shall <br />be construed as creating an employer-employee relationship between the parties. <br />VII. FINGERPRINTING: SLZUSD aclaiowledges Education Code Section 45125.1 applies <br />to contracts for the provision of school and classroom janitorial, school site <br />administration, school site grounds and landscape maintenance, pupil transportation, and <br />school site food-related services, and any similar services.
