Tri-City Homeless
Coalition (service provider) partners with Allied Housing (non-profit developer) to
provide support services to these youth. Allied Housing also partners with Fred Finch Youth
Center to provide medical prescription monitoring, case management, health and
wellness coordination, job placement training, and budget management.
• Building Futures for Women and Children (BFWC) provides twenty (20) beds for
victims of domestic violence in their Sister Me Home Shelter.
• The City has sixteen (16) below-market rate (BMR) properties with seventy (70) BMR
units set aside for people with various disabilities, such as physical and mental
disabilities, sight impairment, and/or hearing impaired. These BMR units include sixty-eight (68) newly
renovated affordable housing units at Casa Verde, which is owned by the City
Redevelopment Agency but managed by Mercy Housing California (MHC). The City
also monitors sixty (60) existing BMR ownership units.
Construction of the proposed 51-unit affordable senior rental housing at East 14t" and
Estabrook Street has begun.
