CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. by Vice Mayor Joyce Starosciak. Vice Mayor <br />Starosciak chaired the meeting in the absence of Mayor Santos. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Starosciak led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak <br /> <br />ABSENT: Member Stephens; Mayor Santos <br /> <br />C. Announcements <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Starosciak announced the following: <br /> <br />the speaker card procedure; <br /> <br />City Manager Reports and Comments will be moved to before Public Comments, to <br />allow Mr. Hollister to give an update on school crossing guards; <br /> <br />Item 2.B., the presentation by EBMUD, will be rescheduled; <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Richard Pio Roda is in attendance in place of City Attorney <br />Jayne Williams; <br /> <br />Newly appointed Assistant City Manager, Lianne Marshall, is in attendance. Vice <br />Mayor Starosciak welcomed Ms. Marshall to the City family. <br /> <br /> <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br /> <br />A.Recognition of the Employee of the Quarter, Ken Joseph, City Engineer, Engineering <br />and Transportation Department. <br /> <br /> <br />
