pre-emergent chemical management program may be <br />instituted by the Operator, upon approval of the Golf <br />Course Operations Manager. Any damage to such <br />turf areas as a result of any chemical applications, <br />whether approved or not, will be at the expense of the <br />Operator to correct and repair immediately. <br />2.12.1.9 Greens, inclusive of the collar, are to be periodically <br />edged and kept free of foreign grasses and/or weeds <br />to insure a healthy monostand of turF on the putting <br />surface. This process must be done throughout the <br />growing season and intensified in the warmer <br />summer months as needed. <br />2.12.1.10 In the event over seeding is required, seeding rates <br />are to be adjusted to insure rapid establishment yet <br />mitigate potential transitional difficulties in the warmer <br />spring months. Putting surfaces are to be seeded at a <br />minimum rate of 35 lbs. Pure Live Seed (PLS) per <br />thousand square feet. ONLY Oregon grown "Blue <br />Tag Certified" seed may be used on putting surfaces. <br />Seed must be free of all noxious weeds and certified <br />by the University of Oregon to be Paa Annua free. <br />Only pre-approved seed varieties and/or blends may <br />be used.
