The City of San Leandro will: <br />• With DSFRC, Coordinate the Parties' efforts to secure funding for tenant <br />improvements. Funding sources may include federal, state, county, city, and <br />philanthropic entities, as agreed to by the Parties. <br />• Coordinate the process to hire a consultant to prepare funding applications for <br />tenant improvements. BRIDGE Housing Corporation, Davis Street Family <br />Resource Center and Alameda County will assist City during the process, as <br />needed. City may permit that the same consultant is retained by Davis Street <br />Family Resource Center to coordinate and oversee all tenant improvement build- <br />outs. <br />Alameda County General Services Agency -Child Care Program will: <br />• Support third party consultant and team to track funding opportunities and <br />provide ongoing review, assistance, and consulting services with funding <br />applications. <br />• Assist City and DSFRC in preparing funding applications for tenant <br />improvements as needed, <br />4C's of Alameda County will: <br />• Upon request, assist in assessing the child care needs of the local community by <br />providing data on existing child care programs and information about the requests <br />for child care received by 4C's from families in the community. <br />Estimated Timeline (all dates and years should be considered for estimate purposes <br />onl <br />August 2009 -BRIDGE will begin Childcare Center preliminary design and City will <br />commence fundraising activities (estimated at $700,000) with assistance from Parties. <br />December 2009 -Parties will confirm feasibility of Childcare Center based on <br />assessment of available funds. <br />Apri12010 -BRIDGE will start construction of residential facility including shell for <br />childcare facility. <br />January 2011 -DSFRC will begin program development, apply for conditional use <br />permit, and design tenant improvements. <br />June 2011 -DSFRC will close on all financing for tenant improvements and begin <br />construction. <br />January 2012 -BRIDGE will complete residential building; DSFRC will complete tenant <br />improvements. DSFRC will install furniture and set-up facility. <br />February 2012 -DSFRC will commence operations. <br />
