Discussion Regarding Project Updates <br />Ken Joseph gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding Project Updates. <br />Bay Trail Bridge <br />o Temporary bridge is complete <br />o Steel columns were installed below the water line <br />o Reinforcing steel is being inserted into steel columns <br />o Completion in February 2010 <br />o Anticipate mid-May opening for "Bike to Work" day <br />Mayor Santos inquired about naming the Bay Trail after Bill Lockyer and that he has the public's <br />interest and support to do so. Uche indicated that Council will have to adopt a resolution for the <br />name change. Once approved, E&T staff can work with other agencies involved in the project to <br />get the name change finalized. <br />• Senior Center <br />o Work continues on exterior surface finishes (plaster and concrete wall board) <br />o Interior wall framing continues <br />o Materials for windows are on site and installation is pending resolution of a <br />subcontractor licensing issue <br />o Rough-in of utilities continues <br />
