(a) City designates City Manager or his/her designee as the City <br />representative to whom all notices and communications from the Lead Member are to be <br />directed. It is the responsibility of such designated representative to notify the <br />appropriate individuals and departments within the City when a notice or communication <br />is sent by the Lead Member. <br />(b) All notices permitted or required by this Agreement are to be sent <br />by facsimile with written transmission confirmation, overnight delivery service or <br />registered or certified mail, postage prepaid and directed as set forth below. Notices will <br />be effective three (3) business days after depositing in the United States Postal system, <br />upon confirmed facsimile transmission or on the next business day if sent by overnight <br />courier in accordance with this Section. <br />County: <br />Alameda County <br />Housing and Community Development Department <br />224 W.
