battery swap station. This project would be the first of its kind in the San Francisco Bay Area and
would help actualize the potential of the East Bay as a center of emerging green economy.
The EBGCP was formed in part to increase regional cooperation and cutting-edge projects such as
the San Leandro Estudillo/Callan Garage and Electric Vehicle Battery Swap Station/Charge Facility
as a way to promote alternative fuel development and greater adoption of electric vehicle use. This
meets the EBGCP's dual goal of local economic development and sustainabilityby boosting the
market for clean technology and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. For these reasons, we
wholeheartedly support this proposal.
Thank you very much for your consideration and please feel free to contact me at (510) 272-3889 or
Carla cr,eastbayeda.ort; with any questions.
Sincerely,
w
aria Din
Director, East Bay Green Corridor Partnership
1221 Oak St., Suite 555
Oakland, CA 94612
(510} 272-3889
Email; Carla cr~eastbayeda.or~
2
