For the bicycle projects, the <br />Bikeway Database will be used. The database can be easily updated when unit <br />costs change in the future. Pedestrian improvement cost estimates will be <br />prepared for the prototypical improvements. For this analysis, unit costs based <br />upon the City of San Leandro's recent experience in construction will be used. <br />The cost estimates are intended. to be order-of-magnitude cost estimates, not <br />detailed cost estimates based on schematic design. <br />Deliverable: Materials necessary for BPAC discussion <br />Meetings: Two meetings with the BPAC to present and get feedback on the 1) proposed <br />bikeway network and 2) proposed pedestrian improvements areas. <br />Task 4: Prepare Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan <br />The findings and products developed in Tasks 1 - 3 will be compiled into the Bicycle and <br />Pedestrian Master Plan. The Plan will include maps and graphics to effectively illustrate the <br />elements of the Plan. The City's needs for future planning and implementation and for meeting <br />the requirements for BTA and other funding sources will be addressed. As part of Task 4, the <br />following documents will be prepared: <br />4a: Draft Plan -For review by the BPAC, city staff, department heads, Planning <br />Commission, and City Council in the quantities and format described in the RFP <br />4b: Draft Final -Comments on the Draft Plan will be incorporated in this version for <br />review by the BPAC, city staff, department heads, Planning Commission, and City <br />Council in the quantities and format described in the RFP <br />4c: Final Adopted Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan -This final document will be prepared <br />following adoption of the Plan in the quantities and format described in the RFP <br />4d: Executive Summary -This document will be prepared to accompany the Draft <br />Final plan to highlight existing and proposed bicycle and pedestrian improvements <br />Consulting Services Agreement between PROJECT N0. 144-36-292 <br />City of San Leandro and Wilbur Smiths Associates--Exhibit A Page 21 <br />
