the Department of Commw~ity Development of the City of San Leandro in compliance <br />with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and <br />WHEREAS, the office of the Department of Community Developrilent of the City <br />of San Leandro is located at 835 E. 14t~' Street, San Leandro, California, and said <br />Department is the custodian of the documents or other materials forming the basis for this <br />deternlination. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro approves the <br />attached Negative Declaration, and finds and resolves as follows: <br />1. The Negative Declaration reflects the City's independent judgment and <br />analysis on the potential enviroiitnental effects of the proposed amendments to Zoning <br />Code Article 19 Landscape Requirements and was presented to the City Council prior to <br />their consideration of said amendments. <br />2. On the basis of the whole record before the Council, including the initial study, <br />there is no substantial evidence that the proposed amendments to Zoning Code Article 19 <br />Landscape Requirements will have a significant effect on the environment. <br />Introduced by Council Member on this 19th day of <br />January, 2010 and passed and adopted by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />2 <br />
