Construction <br />publication.) - - <br />Activity Rapott Commercial Buildings <br />The Agency is active in three redevelopment project areas: the Plaza Project Area, Industrial Buildings <br />the Alameda County - Ciry of San Leandro Project Area (also known as the Joint I Public Buildings <br />Project Area), and the West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard Project Area. The 3 <br />Agency is also active in funding affordable housing activities throughout the city. Other Buildings <br />Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33080.1 (d), selected ` <br />accomplishments for Fiscal Year 2008-09 include: r Total Square Footage 0 0 <br />Overall Enter the Number of Jobs Created <br />The Redevelopment Agency discontinued the Joint Project Area and West San j from the Activities of the Agency <br />i <br />Leandro/MacArthur Blvd. Project Area Advisory Committees and formed a new # Types Completed <br />Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) with one property owner, one business <br />owner and one resident who lives within 500 feet of each project area, two at-large A=Utilities B=Recreation C=Landscaping D=Sewer/ Storm E=Streets/ Roads <br />residents and one housing expert. The RAC has been formed to provide input to F=BuslTransit <br />the Agency on the 2010 - 2014 Implementation Plan and large projects. <br />Plaza Project Area ' <br />i <br />Construction of the final phase of downtown pedestrian and lighting enhancements <br />occurred this year with an estimated completion date of December 2009. The <br />improvements include: improved lighting, sidewalks, landscaping, and the creation <br />of Joaquin Plaza - a community gathering space with a fountain and areas for <br />outdoor seating and dining. <br />s <br />To further support revitalization of Downtown San Leandro, small projects were <br />completed by the Agency such as: placement of banners with the new Downtown <br />Achievement Information (Unaudited) Page 1 12/17/2009 <br />
